UCLA has selected Ayers Saint Gross and Brightworks Sustainability to provide comprehensive strategic sustainability planning and visioning services for the campus. The start of the project in 2019 marks the beginning of UCLA’s second century.
Forest City retained Brightworks as lead sustainability consultant for this ambitious waterfront redevelopment, bringing new mixed-use commercial and residential buildings to historic industrial buildings reflecting the site’s history since the Gold Rush.
As CSU Monterey Bay updates its master plan to accommodate significant growth and promote environmental sustainability, it retained Brightworks to provide a recommendation for becoming a Living Community or pursuing LEED for Neighborhood Development.
Before managing the LEED program for this 3.8-million-square-foot mixed-use office, residential, and retail development, Brightworks completed an assessment of the development’s level of probable certification under LEED NC, LEED H, LEED CS, and LEED ND.
This 14-acre, mixed-use development is evaluating integrated sustainability strategies site-wide that will meet local requirements, provide meaningful results for the community, and create a culturally and environmentally rich place to live, work and play.
