    Live Work Play ‘Aiea Sustainability Planning

    This 14-acre, mixed-use development is evaluating integrated sustainability strategies site-wide that will meet local requirements, provide meaningful results for the community, and create a culturally and environmentally rich place to live, work and play.

    Ching Athletics Complex

    When complete, this 4,100-seat, all-purpose complex will accommodate UH track and field, football, soccer, volleyball, and recreation. A new, 3-story building aside the outdoor spaces will house offices, locker rooms, and a meeting room.

    As part of its modernization, Maui Kahului Airport is pursuing LEED certification for its new ConRAC facility, part of the state DOT’s commitment to steward the natural environment that draws visitors to Hawaii from around the world.

    For this new ConRAC facility, Brightworks supported Honolulu Airport in selecting sustainability strategies that would lower operating costs through energy efficiency and lower maintenance, increase staff productivity, and enhance the customer experience.

    The Moloka’i Community Service Council retained Brightworks to convert a decommissioned power plant into a sustainable town center, with space for community events, commerce, and tourism.
