Dejana's Role at Brightworks

Dejana Harris serves projects throughout the U.S. and Europe from Brightworks’ office in New York. An Analyst in Brightworks’ Sustainable Built Environments practice, she works closely with Brightworks consultants and senior consultants to deliver high-quality sustainability solutions for our clients, while keeping projects on-time and on-budget. She has experience preparing and reviewing sustainability documentation for compliance with industry standards, performing research and technical analysis, and coordinating deadlines and deliverables for the project team.

Dejana has five years of experience working on large transportation and infrastructure projects, performing civil utility engineering, project management, and project controls. She assisted in the accessibility upgrades to New York City Transit’s 149th StGrand and Tremont Avenue stations. She has also performed project control services for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Cross Harbor Freight Program Tier II Environmental Review and Amtrak’s Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project.

Prior to her work on large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects, she was the field engineer for Eastbanc’s West End Square 50 mixed-use development responsible for coordinating and directing trades.
