Kate's Role at Brightworks
Kate Kelly has over ten years of green building experience, including advanced work in healthy and sustainable materials. With previous firm, Gensler, she led the pursuit of the Living Building Challenge Materials Petal for Etsy's New York headquarters, the first program of its type.

Kate’s clients have included CitiBank, Condé Nast, Estée Lauder, The Ford Foundation, JP Morgan Chase, and others. She has managed LEED, WELL, and Living Building Challenge projects to successful certification and recognition from the Center for Active Design, Engineering News Record (ENR), and the International Living Future Institute Biophilic Design Awards program.
Kate is also an active speaker and educator about healthy and sustainable materials, leading trainings on the Living Building Challenge and speaking at the Living Product Expo.
