Kayla's Role at Brightworks

Kayla Freischlag serves clients in Brightworks' Sustainable Built Environments and Materials practices. She has experience working on projects that successfully achieved LEED Platinum Certification, Fitwel certification, and that contribute to corporate sustainability goals. This includes preparing and reviewing sustainability documentation in compliance with industry standards, performing research and technical analysis, and coordinating deadlines and deliverables for the project team. Kayla works across multiple Brightworks practices, including Sustainable Built Environments and ESG & Corporate Sustainability.

Prior to Brightworks, Kayla worked as an emerging technologies specialist at a Vermont-based nonprofit dedicated to helping locals transition to more affordable and cleaner energy sources. Kayla has additional experience managing residential solar projects across the Midwest.
