Kimberly Polkinhorn has significant experience in sustainability programs for technically complex projects. Her experience spans health care, hospitality, real estate development, and research and development. Prior to Brightworks, Kimberly was an Associate at G70, where she focused on the design of sustainable higher education projects and laboratory buildings.

Kimberly’s science and lab experience from G70 includes three major facilities for the University of Hawaii: the Edmonson Hall Life Sciences Renovation, the School of Nursing Translational Health Science Simulation Center, and the Center for Microbial Oceanography, the University of Hawaii’s first LEED Platinum building.

More recently at Brightworks, Kimberly successfully led implementation of the sustainability program for the new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay in Princeville on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai.
