Lauryn's Role at Brightworks
Lauryn is a LEED Green Associate with experience spanning both building certifications and broader building sustainability work, along with corporate sustainability reporting under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Lauryn supports project teams with the coordination, documentation, and tracking needed to keep certification and sustainability efforts moving, bringing a well-rounded perspective that connects building-level sustainability work with organization-level carbon accounting and reporting. Lauryn’s passion for sustainability began at an early age through volunteer work at her local aquarium, where she supported communications and events that upheld its mission of conservation. She continued pursuing this passion in a volunteer capacity while earning her master’s degree, serving as a member of the PENN Climate Student Advisory Committee, where she developed environmental initiatives for the university’s curriculum and events.
