Meredith's Role at Brightworks

As a Senior Energy Analyst with Brightworks, Meredith Wallach brings more than nine years of deep experience in providing energy analysis and modeling. She is skilled in applying her advanced understanding of energy code standards and green building practices to her clients’ projects, generating comprehensive energy analyses and recommending effective solutions to project teams. Her experience includes working with LEED, EnergyStar and other third-party standards, as well as managing compliance with municipal, state and federal regulations. Meredith’s experience spans a wide range of client- and project-types, including schools, healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, high-rise offices, multifamily buildings, and high-performance buildings such as museums, galleries, and theaters.

In her previous roles, Meredith conducted research to inform recommendations on biofuel efficiency for the New York City Public School Authority. She successfully modeled and analyze two-dimensional heat-transfer effects in building components, focusing
on thermal bridges, resulting in significant energy savings. She is experienced at working alongside program implementers to establish guidelines for new and existing programs, and prides herself on fostering close collaboration with team members and clients to develop process improvement tools and strategies to increase these savings.
