Focusing on healthy and sustainable materials programs for Brightworks clients, Alex Setmajer is part of the sustainability teams for the following major developments:

  • National Park Service Yellowstone National Park Youth Conservation Corps New Campus (Yellowstone, Wyoming)
  • Naughtone Furniture HPD/EDP Program (Knaresborough, United Kingdom)
  • Global Workplace Healthy and Sustainable Materials Program (Various, International)


She is also working on projects for Facebook, Gerding Edlen Development, Gucci, Microsoft, Northeastern University, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Portland State University (PSU), and University of Oregon.

Alex also offers proven expertise with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure’s (ISI) Envision rating system for sustainable infrastructure: before Brightworks, she was an Envision project manager for HDR in Portland, Oregon.  During that time, her Envision projects included:
