Bernardo Ruiz is a Consultant based in our Portland office, where he serves clients on sustainable and healthy building programs across a variety of project types. Bernardo has experience with energy and water efficiency strategies for projects in design, construction and in ongoing operations, both in the United States and globally. He has worked on more than 30 LEED projects, and is proud to name Google, UBS and Nestlé among his past clients.  

Bernardo excels at coordinating numerous stakeholders around common goals to achieve high-impact sustainability objectives in each project, including managing relationships with developers, designers, contractors, and landlords. In addition to his experience in the sustainable building industry, he offers a thoughtful approach to client relations. He is motivated by data and justice; he previously processed data for the entire Guadalajara Metropolitan Area to create an air pollution forecasting model and analyze vulnerable areas and social groups. Bernardo is bilingual in English and Spanish.
