Cassidy Green
Wellness Lead
Cassidy leads Brightworks’ services for health and wellness projects, such as the WELL Building Standard and the Fitwel Standard. As the senior consultant in Brightworks’ Los Angeles office, she has served public and private clients throughout the region, as well as for key Brightworks clients across the country. She works frequently with institutions of higher education, including UCLA, Cal Poly SLO, CSU Northridge, and San Diego State University.
Cassidy brings more than nine years of experience managing LEED, WELL, Fitwel, SITES, and Envision projects. With several types of certification experience, she is skilled at managing projects with multiple certifications and sustainability targets, as well as in consulting with owners and developers to seamlessly incorporate those sustainability targets into standard designs.
Earlier in her career, Cassidy directed the LEED certification process for eight projects for the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also developed, implemented, and taught the UC’s first LEED Lab, an experiential student course where students facilitated the LEED O+M process on a campus building, delivering a full O+M v4 certification at course completion and gaining enough experience to sit for the LEED AP exam. The LEED Lab course continues at UC Santa Barbara today.
