Prior to joining Brightworks, Olivia served as the Green Certification Coordinator for the Program for the Assessment and Certification of the Environment and Sustainability (PACES) at her alma mater, University of California, Santa Barbara. In this role, she advised university departments on the best sustainability practices for energy, indoor air quality, purchasing, waste, water, and transportation. She also provided educational resources and workshops to staff and faculty to improve their sustainability and environmental health practices while working from home.
Olivia provided similar consulting and educational services to local businesses seeking to become more sustainable while interning for the Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County.
