Peter Reppe

Senior Energy Analyst

Peter Reppe has more than 20 years of experience improving the energy efficiency of new and existing buildings. He has worked extensively with commercial and institutional clients to provide energy modeling and energy audits to improve building energy performance.

Previously an Energy Analyst with Systems West Engineers and Solarc Architecture and Engineering, Peter has deep experience with high-performance buildings, energy-related rating systems, and financial incentive programs. He is particularly familiar with the Passive House standard, which results in ultra-low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating or cooling. Peter managed the energy program for the St. Vincent de Paul Stellar Apartments, the first multi-family residential project in the United States to achieve Passive House certification.

Peter is a passionate advocate for the environment who has served on the Board of Directors for Passive House Northwest, and for multiple non-profits dedicated to advancing recycling programs. He has also led and presented research studies to identify design and cost barriers to the construction of Living Building Challenge certified buildings for the Eugene Chapter of the Cascadia Green Building Council.
