A project coordinator in Brightworks Sustainability’s Oakland office, Raisa serves Brightworks clients throughout the United States. Before Brightworks, Raisa served as a sustainability analyst at MetLife, where she implemented selected sustainability strategies called for in MetLife’s sustainability program, including corporate real estate, supply chain management, employee engagement, and sustainability reporting. She successfully established a new environmental management system demonstrating the benefits of energy and water efficiency initiatives in all of MetLife’s owned offices globally.
Prior to MetLife, Raisa worked as a Sustainability Intern at ULI Greenprint Building Performance in New York where she administered the collection, analysis and reporting of energy data across 4000 properties and 100 funds. During her undergraduate studies in Bangladesh, Raisa worked with a textile manufacturing company to help them adopt eco efficiency measures based on the cost saving opportunities that she identified in her thesis report on water consumption.
A native of Bangladesh, Raisa is fluent in Bangla, Hindi and English.
