San Luis, AZ

Brightworks is serving as sustainability consultant for the major expansion and modernization of Arizona's San Luis Land Port of Entry. The improvements at this border crossing will improve traffic flows, reduce processing times, and increase security. The San Luis LPOE received $100M from the Biden Administration's Investing in America program, the largest grant for in-progress projects, which will make San Luis first land port of entry to achieve net-zero by balancing carbon emissions through innovative climate-resilient technologies, an all-electric design, and photovoltaics, and batteries.
