UCLA has selected Ayers Saint Gross and Brightworks Sustainability to provide comprehensive strategic sustainability planning and visioning services for the campus. The start of the project in 2019 marks the beginning of UCLA’s second century.
Brightworks conducted extensive analysis and modeled the potential for energy efficiency measures and on-site solar energy to help this existing high school building achieve its net-zero energy target.
Following President Obama’s Executive Order 13514, Brightworks audited the Hanford Nuclear Site’s mobile source Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and developed a plan to reduce those emissions while reducing costs to Hanford and its employees.
Aiding its successful LEED Platinum certification, Brightworks’ daylighting analysis for this award-winning custom home evaluated daylight autonomy, annual average lux for overcast conditions, and illuminance.
